Today was stage 2 at MTO White River for pro riders and what an exciting day of mountain biking. Jacques Janse van Rensburg was looking strong on the climbs and was in the lead for most of the route. Wessel Botha came in guns blazing at the end; although he had a crash earlier on; he maintained his lead and took the overall win. Kim le Court was quicker through check point 1, but Theresa Ralph kept moving and came in first in the ladies race.
Tomorrow is the last day for challengers to take on stage 2 of Pursuit Challenge #6, the weather is clearing up and we’re excited to close off this long weekend of mountain biking in Mpumalanga.
